woa thats ridiculous! that has to be intense, the only thing that i could think of on how they do it is a short boat like it is with a deep v bottom so it can "lean" into the corners with a big rudder to turn fast. i have some bad rc boats that turn sharp like that

It reminds me of a roller coaster except with water instead of tracks.

The hull is a pretty simple v-hull design, but they are using water jet propulsion, just like a jet ski, so that's why they turn so hard.

In this video you can see the jet prop and shape of the hull.

ive seen boats in louisiana that have Vtwin kholer engines on em, and the prop is a loooong "9ft" solid shaft that barely sticks in the water... and they pivot the whole assembly to steer on a dime in the shallow waters.

Im thinking these watercross boats have some kinda double cardan joint so the prop can pivot at a crazy angle, but still sustain strength and not break........

HELLO?!?!
They are NOT using a traditional prop, they are using a jet prop, like a jet ski.
Have you ever rid in or seen a jet ski up close? It's the same basic design, just bigger.
