CA Better then KA? O.O glad i went ka-t then buy that motor. I read some bad reviews about those motors. But glws 1k is cheap.

This is the problem with the view and opinions on CAs and other topics of preference for that matter.

The CA in healthy condition makes 180hp while the KA makes roughly 140. Let's just leave that there because there are too many variables when you add mods.

My CA was very healthy with perfect compression and the mods that make turbo motors happy. I had a nice intake on the turbo, a good free flowing exhaust, and a small intercooler core that allowed for quick building of boost. Then I had a lightweight flywheel and IMO a great clutch(RPS 6 puck) to transfer the power.

Comparing a CA to a KA is apples to oranges because you're talking about an NA motor vs. a FI motor.

Now about the "bad reviews". Let me tell you that Oscar would probably be someone you wouldn't want to hear about a KA-T because he had a bad experience due to detonation. I wouldn't be the one to listen to about first hand experience with SRs because mine was so fucked up it was unreal. You also wouldn't want to listen to Sky about CAs because he hasn't even used his and is going off hearsay.

What do these "reviews" have in common? Too many errors that resulted in an experience that isn't going to do justice or prove relevant to be a unbiased review of a motorset.

I can tell you, along with Damesta, Rico, and a couple other guys off Nico about how great a CA can be because we have intimate experience with them and have had good motors to base opinions off of along with mods that we've done to them. I can tell you that a GT28R on a CA makes for a quick and fun little motor that has a great powerband and certainly puts a smile on your face. Sure it's not raw visceral power like an LS1 but that's not the point of the motor. You can't think that way and then be open minded enough to accept a good experience.

My CA popped because of an old turbo that blew through oil faster that I thought and on top of that the bank at HMP allowed what oil was left to run away from the 4th piston causing bearings to get ate up. Do you hear me saying CAs suck? No because that was absolutely my error and is not indicative of what a CA is.

I can't knock an SR after my injectors getting stuck open and causing the block to lock up due to way too much fuel to compress. Not a fair representation.
