Replaced the switch with another one the owner gave me. Still no turn signals. I also noticed that on the instrument cluster no arrows come up and flash.

Related? Possibly fuse?

Timing control unit?

That little white box down on the drivers side kick panel. Take it out and pop the box apart, see if any of the traces on the circuit board are fried. Happens when two of the red wires where the stereo are touch that aren't suppose to. Red with yellow stripe and red with orange stripe I think?

That might actually be the issue. The stereo wires are completely exposed. Lets see...

all of the traces look good don't seemed to be burnt the capacitors looks fine as well.
smell the board to see if it smells burnt.
if not then it has to do with the wiring behind the radio.

yeah, when mine burnt up it would have been on the bottom right hand corner of the pic you posted of the back of the board. kind of where the flash reflection shows itself, where those 4 or 5 traces come together really close, they are so close that they burn up really easy. mine wasnt readily visible, but kinda had a little bubble of the green board, that when i touched it flaked off exposing that underneath it had burnt up, verified it by checking continuity with multimeter.

what else is not working?? just the turn signals?? normally the tcu burning up would make all lights on the dash not work. you may be lacking a ground wire to ground when all the stereo wires were cut, which in turn caused just your turn signals to not work anymore.

Well as of right now the brake lights, headlight motors, rpm gauge on the dash and turn signals.

Possibly related?

I hate dealing with someone electrical b.s.

So did some inspecting when I bolted on the new front end. Here's some pics. Let me know if any of this look out of the ordinary....

What the hell is this fuse box? Notice the nice zip tie. Smh.

Driver side... Notice too the body damage.

Passenger side...

So I had a thought that maybe I was missing something on the actual steering wheel that associates with the turn signal switch. Wouldn't doubt it cause the hub isn't even bolted.

The white tabs raise when you turn left or right. Is that supposed to contact anything? Let me know if there's anything Im missing.

I think those little tabs just kick off the blinkers when the steering wheel turns back...

So some interesting developments on this issue...

When I got home I decided to put in some new bulbs in the front blinkers. The driver one broke so I have to pick up more bulbs. Anyways, on the test drive of the new maf I installed, I hit a bump and suddenly the passenger side turn signal was on. But not blinking. And only in the rear light. It stayed on, with the lights. Parked the car. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and turned it back on. The turn signal was gone... No clue what this is. Something, somewhere is loose. I'll have to dive into it this weekend...

Turn signal staying on. No blink. Only in the rear tail light

Then off...

Any advice out there for me?
