AC Wiring

I just inherited my father-in-law's '89 240SX with an SR Redtop swap. I just drove it back to Houston this past weekend. The car was in CO so he never wired up the AC after the swap. The original KA SOHC compressor and AC components are installed with a custom made bracket on the motor. Its running off the original KA ECU with a custom tune. I understand there is a way to jumper and wire the components so the AC will again. Trying to search forums but mostly it mentions a DOHC compressor or using the SR compressor.

Just found this forum and since its local, hoping someone would be able to walk me through what might need to be done. I appreciate any help before it get hot as Hades outside.

Thanks in advance. I am a MOPAR/muscle car guy so know very little about the SX other than what I was told.

The ac wiring itself is a part of the chassis wiring harness not the engine wiring harness. I would check fuses and wirelooms in the fenderwells first. The only connection it has to the engine wiring is to the ecu to tell the iacv to idle up the motor when the the compressor kicks on.

I am also interested in how the motor is running on a ka ecu, is it a sr20de converted to turbo or something? I never knew the ka ecu could handle coil on plug like the sr20det is.

I think its the SR ECU, but was told by the FIL step son it was the stock ECU.. He's confused I bet. He seemed to know a lot about the car and on some stuff, not so much.
