jackasspyro2 Its up in the air
have you traced the harness to see if it is shorting anywhere? Or if there just is a bad connection?

Looks like the 12v is supplied by the ignition switch. Since you checked for 12v at your injectors and found 1.28v, check ignition coil since they both share the same power supply. 12v supply for both the coil and injectors is the black wire with red stripe. If you have 12v at your coil and not injectors, I would start looking for high resistance on the injector side of the harness. If you have 1.28v at your coil, you could have high resistance in your ignition switch or the relay that supplies key on 12volts.

Glad u got it fixed.. I was getin ready to suggest distributor or ignition coil because my injectors were not firing either..I have had issues similar 2 yours.. even did a auto to 5 speed and almost threw a harsh mood swing it didn't start after I finished cuz the negative battery terminal wasn't tighten lol...

Bad gas?
R ur injectors havin a bad day, first voltage low now boggin issues?
fuel pump ohkay?
I know 4 sure, fuel issues will cause a vicious boggin sensation..
Not 2 sure on bad wiring but I would still recheck it again..
Mass air flow sensor?

As the seasons change..I noticed cars are acting up..
Such a hot n sweaty summer, now a cold n dry winter lyes ahead
Starting issues, boggin after 3,000rpms..
Misfiring from spark plugs due to no tune up..

Jus a few things 2 check for..

I would check fuel pressure and fuel quality like Recka34 said. I have seen a lot of weird problems associated with old fuel. It maybe a good idea to check base timing and base idle if you have changed ecus or had the distributor off. Can you keep it running with the gas pedal? Did you change anything before these problems started? Just curious about the history of the car.

I did take the distributor out and i made sure it was put back in right and it will stay idling with the gas pedal being held around 2k rpms and i didnt change the ecu only the harness and i got the right fuel pressure i got a new throttle position sensor made sure it was put in right im lost now

Did u check your MAF already? On most vehicles, if a MAF is disconnected, it will bog down harshly and the motor will die after a couple of seconds. Check the wiring and if its OE, go ahead and replace it so you know that wont be an issue. If it keeps being a whore, continue with checking air, fuel, and spark. GL!

I know it's been awhile but did you ever fix the issue?
