OK guys I need some help. With the bigger rotors the dust shroud will scrape the back of the rotor. I did not think about that. So what should I do? I was thinking about using a grinder to cut it a little to get the clearence I need. Any ideas on how to deal with this will be helpful.

cut it like a pizza (20 or so cuts), so you can bend out the lips... or just trim it away all together,

Also, you are going to have cut the 2 tabs near the mounting bolts, the z-calipers will not fit with them on there...

EXAMPLE, the brake dust shields tabs need to be removed (red lines), and then make several (yellow lines) cut around the lip of the shield.

OK
I will knock this out this afternoon. Well tell me, what would be the result if I cut it off.

don't cut it off just remove your hub again and knock it off 4 swing with a mallet and its off.
you wont have an ugly ass bent up dust shield anymore.

...it merely protects your discs from getting dust on the inside.. theoretically removing the shield will provide better cooling. at the cost of having water, dust, dirt, rocks, broken glass, and feces end up on the inside face of your rotors..

OK I finally got it fixed. It just needed a lil trim. I wanted to keep most of it to keep the dust and dirt off the disc

I got some brake dust cleaner and clened up the area then sanded down the edges as not to be as sharp. Now its back to waiting on the new brakes.
