new guy

how's it going everyone, I'm thenuge. I've owned my s13 for 6 years now, and have only crashed it once. does hitting curbs count? if so, make that three times ha.

that pic was taken at mineral wells airport. since then, i found another zenki front

gotta cut the grills out or you're not doing it right

looking forward to raiding your forsale section, as well as hopefully finding people to buy my stuff lol

hehe for some reason, my fmic has always been crooked. might be bent mounts, but it hasnt bothered me since it performs well enough for my stock t25.

as for suspension, at the time I wasn't ready to upgrade. seat time was what I was after, as well as repairs to a nearly 25yr old car (will be 25 in april). I have spl tension rods, strut bars for the front and rear, a whiteline front swaybar, and isis ruca to play with camber in the rear. looking for good coils now that I understand my car better.

under heavy braking and cornering, my car will drift. I think it's from a combination of not enough downforce in the rear (as my hatch is wingless) and my spring rates are too soft. I think what's happening is the weight shifts to the front giving my car just enough lift to lose traction. it's not a huge deal since this isnt a time attack car, but i do want to address that issue.

any thoughts?

That is Chuck.

Hmm my hatch well about the time this site went live I had my fill of daily rally car problems. So I traded the junk yard for a motor and tranny and windshield for an 89 maxima to help out my new mother in law. Sadly it was probably something simple like the egr.

Something to consider and a fraction of the cost of nismo sub brace

ah, well as long as you dont regret it. thanks for the tip about the tension rod brace, do you have or know anyone with personal experience with it? the nismo unit has this fan following, so i'm sure there's a good reason why everyone knows about it. i'll do some searching about stealth's unit as well

4 lug or 5?

Also about the rear downforce idea. Should really stand out from the crowd with veilside type 3 wing.

Haha well you're doing better than me, I don't know anyone anymore with a 240 it seems like. I am in Wichita Falls at the moment for school and the S14 is sitting in Cleburne sadly. Maybe we can get something together over Christmas break when I will be back. I will be back this week for Thanksgiving, but its probably to short of notice for something!

And btw that was me "Bailey" on NRR if you were wondering

I doubt my clutch will make it through a weekend at the track, and I don't really need to spend the money at the moment (being cheap so I can finish college lol). But DKC is fun, I have been once and had a good time.
