fabricating a rear deck s13 coupe

Hey guys. so i decided to put in a new head unit and 4x6's for the front doors and some pioneer 6.5 speakers i had laying around since the car is sitting until i get my coilovers. when i took off the rear deck, even being gentle it immediately started crumbling away into a few pieces. no big deal since i wanted to redo all the carpet black anyway. So i decided im going to use my old deck and draw a stencil of it and make a fresh one. has anyone had some experience doing this or know of someone that has? and what material should i use? thanks in advance

i found the materials to use in making the deck. i should be able to make 3 with black carpet and a more durable board. if anyone is interested, ill post pictures after its done and if it doesnt give me any fitment issues ill be selling the other two at an unknown/debatable price. FYI its being made for an s13 coupe and will have black carpet

Not too shabby for a boxcutter and a inch hole saw I'm not worried about the not perfectly smooth vent slots and speaker holes, the carpet will hide that. I drilled the holes for the plastic clips, I'll do a test fit after work. Then just carpet and installation

Success. Fits perfect. Tonight I'm plasti dipping the vents black. Think ill take the hifonics amp and dual low profile 12's out of my truck and put em in the trunk of the s13. Then ill need to find something else to do until I have enough for my PBM comps. Might try to repair my ultra cracked dash

I don't anymore, but a friend does, and I do think that rear deck needs to be replaced.

Finished the vents and widened the holes so the speakers would sit flush. My next little project will be the dash
