Function> Form i dont really care how it looks. Just playing. It runs im good. But i am thinking disposable motors. With single cam and my limited budget. I can still have 2 almost 3 motors for the price yall pay for one. So pop a motor my broke ass can keep driving.

Few quick questions. So took intake apart to clean. Noticed weird throtle body things in the intake, Are these needed seems extra to me. And how to delete if i need to.

Head looks pretty new along with the valces inside amd springs etc

Also was wondering if like hondas the rod bearings you can get through the bottom/oil pan? if so i wantn to inspect and maybe replace if needed. Im trying to just run stock motor for first event. Then at least build the motor and cage before second...well see thanks in advance for awnsers.

Man I hate to be the one to say it but that green valve cover is hideous lol.. I think with the amount of shit you already catch, you should pick a more neutral color. Unless that green actually looks good to you and in that case...

Yeah i will be going with green and gold. not that green but a difrent green Prob stay flat black car for now. Green, gold accents. Well see if it works out....Just like the don won...green is for the money and gold for the honeys (punnany)...any way looks dont matter to me. Somone helps and wants could paint her like a teli tubby for all i care as long as she runs hard for me and goes where i tell her. But that green we had like three cans lying around the shop so free green is the green for now.

with a stock sohc, I'd probably just leave the secondary butterflies (if they work right). the high RPM gain is not worth the low end torque loss.

Also there are crank bearings and rod bearings. They are cheap enough you might as well replace them all while you're in there

Sooo have a couple questions. I have a dual cam chassis so the dash and both harnesses in fhe fenders there. I just picked up a single cam ecu. Got the tow harnesses to the batterym don't have injectors or tje part that plugs into ecu...so does injector harness have those conectors? If not what will. And will I have any issues or need to customize anything putting a single cam in a de chassis?
I don't like working on cars in the first place..I get lost and dispose wiring. Guess ill have to learnnnm and quick about that. Recently while watching videos. I can't say his name but the asian guy in the discount s13 fd....well he needed a tire changed.stood there staring at it for 15 min waiting for the mechanic to change it...when asked why he said he didnt know how...he may have been joking but yeah i dont get why people dont like that i dont like working on cars. Always beeen a job. i enjoy the driving part...buttttt i dont have a mechanic so guess i have to learn...lol thanks in advance for the help h240!!

got my front wheels today to. And prob weird to day but destiny is awsome. Or I got lucky again. But didnt know where to find tires for these. Then like a hour before we closed a regular customer said she was getting new tires. ..I looked 15s yeah. I asked her if she would bring me back old ones if they charged her id pay. Worked late she showed back with olld ones right before I left. Got three good tires 50% and one holds air but inner tire wear to thread... she said they didnt charge her and I could have for free. I gave her $10 any way.

So I think you need the power steering lines for a single cam car. Also if memory serves the injector plugs should be on the engine harness. Also I think the plug for the dash has to be rewired for a single cam, I think its only like 5 wires or something.

And the ecu connectors? And iffff I don't run power steering. Will at affect driving other then toning me up lmao. I always assumed no ps more wheel feed back. Driver "feels" road more. No facts to base that on. Just makes sense to me
But if all it is is more effort. I don't mind skipping that part. Lol
