Thumbs up Tomball Auto Glass

So I had horrendous weather strip, and a crack the size of the Grand Canyon on my windshield. I went with every ones suggestion with this auto glass shop in Tomball since its family owned, 12 years experience, and a sweet price.

The cool dude there forgot his name, showed me the damage the previous owners before me had done. Glass popped right out which isn't good (did a bad job gluing in the glass), and had crappy weather strip. That lead to some minor, but some obvious rust all along the the edges. They cleaned it as much as possible, added primer over it, and some strong looking glue. Looks 90% OEM.

It cost $120 installed in less than an hour, but it was $15 more because of the primer. My interior was covered in little bits of dust and glass, but over all I think they did an awesome job. Id recommend them to anyone looking for a good glass job.

I also traded these other cool dudes my clear euro style turning signals for the original ones.

Aaaaaaand thanks to Todd for helping me make me car look even cleaner with this fresh steering wheel. Now all I need is to get rid of these dash cracks, and an OEM gauge cluster.

Also does anyone know how to take these off?! The little black plastic trim? I'm getting new ones. Thanks.

I'm suppose to take it off in the morning, when he said that I thought as if I just got plastic surgery. Haha. I don't know really. And to wait two days before I wash it.

Oh Christ George... that's going to be difficult for you.
Might need a support group for this one.

jnsn_s13 Its up in the air
You can remove the side trim easy. It's just screws holding it. The screws are under the weatherstrip and if I remember you need to take the side pilar too.

the tape holds the windshield in before the glue sets. if you didn't drive your car for a whole day then you would'nt need the tape. if you drive with the windows down there is a positive pressure in the cabin of the vehicle and if the glue is not dry enough the window will actually pop out (forward).. so they put the tape to keep it from popping out from the positive pressure from driving.

hope that made sense

Looks like they did a real good job, and it's resonable. Might have to hit them up myself.
