If you're not going to cut the cross member the shifter is going to be to far forward using the GTO oem oil pan. You either notch the cross member or notch the pan. Trust me I'm doing my second LS swap right now. I'm almost done gathering parts. Just need belts and hoses. Next week I'm on vacation so I'll have it in and running within 2 to 3 days after starting the build. The first swap I built my own mounts. This time I'm using hooker engine mounts ($239) and hooker 1 7/8" headers ($509). So cheap and well designed. Good luck and if you need some advice hit me up.
