Went through a divorce over last few years and car has been sitting up since before then. Wife originally bought the car before I moved back from military but never transferred title to her name and she has since "lost" the title. I could try and find her co-worker she bought it from but it's probably easier to just get a bonded title if one were inclined to get it road legal. It's really a track car. No AC, no interior (backseats/carpet), no stereo and the 2-way LSD. Could be a parts car but just don't tell me about it. I put a lot of my time and money into this thing. I shipped most of my parts back from Japan when I moved back and built everything myself. Not running right now. I put in a new starter but not getting ignition. I just haven't had time (or place with tools & space) to track down source. Due to time sat up, likely ground issue. Engine is strong though which is why I never opened her up to change any internals. The same redtop in my 180sx in Okinawa. If you're not familiar with SDS engine management, I would recommend installing your own or reading up as much as you can. Its basic but works well if you understand it. My plan was to convert to ViPEC but family priorities took precedence. Needs new tires, a serious bath, and all the hoses and connections to be gone over for any cracks due to age, needs fresh oil. PS steering still leaks like a siv but haven't found a S13 that didn't. Rack is fairly new though. Also have an S13 SR20 blacktop that can go with it for a little extra. Needs mild rebuild (new rings),ran fine when I took it out but didn't want to chance any serious issues. Also have various other S13 parts in storage that will go with car. |
Damn. This sucks. Your old school. Would you consider getting it fixed up with a little help?
