If you had a boost leak.. you wouldn't be building boost, unless it was a small leak, but then if your gauge reads 10psi you should still have power equal to 10psi.

need more info.

I'm pretty sure it's your spark plug gap.

You need to make the gap smaller.

Try something inbetween .030-.035 and it should fix the problem.

Didja check for any bananas in your tailpipe? :rofl

sounds to me like lack of ignition also. check the plugs make sure they are gapped to at least .35. you might even want to upgrade them to some platinums since they are better in the higher rpms then coppers. but coppers will last longer. but shit they are like 5 bux

Pull the banana out of your muffler.

I think you got it backwards bro. It should be gapped to at most .035.

detonation from what tho? being on sidemount and having boost creep from cold weather? im on side mount and havent crept boost yet and i dont even have a boost controller :dunno

That would cause a hard misfire. It's very obvious.

Sounds more like you have an air leak somewhere, or you are picking up detonation and it's backing off timing.

You might be running cooler engine temps, this would create more spark advance and thus detonation. I've seen it on SR's running BPU's and 14 PSI, picking up knock on cold days in the lower RPMs.
